They all have the same bad back light transformer as your artical mentions. What I would like to find out is how to go about jumpering around the faulty transformer and how to disable the feed back circuit on this board as the artical mentions?
Thanks in advance if any one can help direct my efforts.

Sometimes the display shutdown can be cause by dry joints in the high voltage transformer, bad filter capacitor, and one of the backlight have problem. You need to have some basic electronics to perform such test as it involve ac supply which is dangerous. Do you have any experience in electronics repair?
