It was just for some fun, that's all, dear Albert! Any article with a catchy caption would attract readers and that was the intention. No offence meant!

About your 50" TV, I request you not to worry. Take a large size lamination sheet which will not bend or similar strong but smooth material, after releasing the panel from all sides. Then keep the scaler board and COF stuck on the front side with a few tapes so that they do not get torn. Then gently insert the sheet horizontally or vertically until it reaches all sides of the panel. Then use spongy gloves and gently lift it putting your palm and fingers underneath to the center of the panel for balancing, while holding the bottom edge portion with the other hand. If possible take help from your brother to hold one side but with soft gloves. Never apply downward pressure on the panel at any place. Then move it to any vacant bed. Do the rest of the work and reverse the process. I have explained all these in my previous articles. Kindly refer to them. Or watch any youtube video. All the best.

Sorry to hear that this tv came back for another timeconsuming repair dear Parasuraman. But I would not so much as confirm that I made a prediction on this tv. As you know I am no tv expert. And from experience we already have seen other tv models revisiting for additional repair work in the past too.
It is just that I made a remark that fixing backlight led strips should have been made so much easier!
My brother's 50 inch LG tv with now at least 10 fallen off led diffuser light caps needs a repair soon too to fix all those visible bright sunny spots. But removing the top 50 inch large panel without breaking or polluting the lcd panel or its diffuser plates is a big and risky task. And gluing all caps back on including those that have not fallen off yet is something I am not really confident about either. Last year I already bought UV hardening transparant glue and an expensive big silicon sucking frame to lift the glass lcd panel safely but have never used it before either. And it also requires a large clean table and the right time and weather to disassemble such a large tv.
