in 17" LG studio works 710E its display gose off after 10 minutes. i cheak it by digital multimeter. i observed that when it shows display B+ shows 56volts and vcp pin (which connected with HOT collecter) shows nothing. but when monitor's display goes off it shows same voltage range on B+ and vcp pin why. please guide me and tell me its solution

Checking the value of resistor is the same regardless of types of resistor. Just follow the resistor code and you are on the right track.

The SMPS seems to be good. Check the gate signal to the B+ FET because if no gate signal the B+ voltage won't be reaching to the flyback pin thus no high voltage generated.

i m confused to cheak resistor only corbon composition is easy to cheak but i m confused to cheak metal filim resistor, metal oxide resistor and wirewound resistor specially with digital mullti metere pease giude me
NOTE ( some or resistors background colour is pink and some of resistor background colour is gray and some of resistors background colour is brown what is testing proses of those ) please guide me

i hve 17" lg montor (studio works) it turns on normally but shows black screen after 10 minutes i have cheak and found that main chopper of power supply is not giving out put voltaes from two pins one is 80volt pin and second is 50volt pin. and B+ voltages reading is 74volts but HOT is not showing voltages from base and emiter. please tell me what is the problem with this monitor and also tell me its solution
