Thanks for a good article on 8 port network switch. I am also doing a little bit work in Electronics and want to need help from you to repair these kind of network switches like d link. This article is very helpful for me. Voltage marking is very good approach. If you have repaired these kind of switches then plz share with me. I have lots of network switch but still need to repair.the problem with these switches is in some ports if we plug in the hole network is disturbed.I want to know how can it happen when other ports in the same switch is working.do you have come accros the same problem if so pleas share the trouble shooting tips.

Instead of filling the land with this type of junk i would rather like to repair and use it because this technology is not absolute yet.
