Having gotten so used to your longish articles, i hadnt realised that the repair was complete at the ending of the brief repair narrative. Not long ago your hot pursuit for coacroches clearly demonstrated your determination to ensure they are an endangoured spieces at all costs. Indeed I often develop a strong dislike for them. They mess up with radio and TV speaker diaphrams. As for ants, the ones found in my area are called 'safari ants'. They'r always migrating.They may pass through your house at night and cause trouble. The 'convoy' can be traced beyond 2 km. Woe unto you if you step on the convoy. You may wipe them all from your clothes. But it always happens that one small one remains hidden and moves up your trouser, calmly stays there, waiting for the right moment to embarass you. So as you will be, maybe talking to your friends, it will bite every so often so painfully, and this causes a funny scene as it makes one unsettled. Otherwise i'm suprised that 'BAI' is so knowledgeable about ants.

In a moist atmosphere, The plastic casing, electronic parts and surrounding wire insulation can emit faint chemical odors or volatile organic compounds when warm. To an ant, these chemical vapors can mimic the scent of their own nesting pheromones, tricking them into thinking the battery compartment is a perfect home.

also When few ants are die, their bodies release alarm pheromones. This signal mistakenly calls other ants to the area, creating swarms.

Yes, very true! But checking the components in the primary and secondary, sometimes removing one leg is always a time-consuming job! The ant story is interesting to read! What are the things in the world that we kill either for food or getting rid of menace or other reasons! The list is endless! Apart from cleaning and replacing the fuse this must have been a very easy repair for you! Never heard the phrase before about "getting a gleam in your eye" although I knew what glimmering was. First thinking you got something in your eyes from all those infested Ants. Luckily it was just about a momentary positive event.
Speaking about Ants...I must have killed at least already 500 of them in the last couple of months that kept pestering my strawberry plants on my balcony. But after that the last week I already killed at least about 60 Wasps that keep trying to enter in any space in the walls that is open with likely their queen already inside? I hate spraying any pesticides into my walls so for now I just use my electric fly swatter to kill as many of them I can.

Ants can invade any device that is not air tight sealed,most often they gain entrance into this type of adaptor through the base of the cord,thanks for sharing sir.
