Hi Amanuel,

You need a ring tester to check the primary winding to see if it is shorted or not. Ohm meter can also be used to check if the flyback primary winding is shorted or not.

Hi Amanuel,

Probably shorted HOT or flyback. I suggest that you isolate the B+ supply line from going to the Flyback and see if the main fuse will blow or not.

You need to find the service manual to enter into the factory service mode and see if has the mode to power up in AV mode.

Check also for any shorted varistor (if your TV have). Check also for shorted power FET.

Hello there. My name is Daniel from Bloemfontein. I now have Samsung model LA32C450E1. I had loadshading after the electric power came back my tv set never came on. I changed my bridge diode but still when I switch the power on it blown the fuse. The original fuse was ceramaic fuse 5A.0AH but I replaced it with a glass fuse 5A. What could be the problem?
