CM501 is a slave IC, and distributes voltages for the scaler board and panel. This gets on when a command is received from the uController. This is a common IC used in many Tcon and Scaler Boards. This was my first attempt in servicing of Scaler Board.

Great Repair Mr. Parasuraman. I do not know how these IC works. Are they not programmable IC's and you have to have the program for it? Not sure that's why I am asking. Great job on the repairs.

You again managed to fix a very difficult problem professionally like you usually do!
I know that you previously said that one of your friends provided you with a datasheet of the CM501 chip and therefore you probably didn't require any additional information to fix this Toshiba 32PU200E1 LED TV. These kind of difficult repairs only seem to be mastered in India and by highly trained people like you. Like the transformer rewinding service that exists in your country and is not known in my country.
