This is a very wild question. Whenever I find difficulty in trouble shooting a set because of lack of space within to insert probes etc, I do take out the board and keep it outside and connect it to its own power supply. Sometimes, I even remove the transformer for doing this. As long as you use its own power supply, it's OK.

Great work Sir. I want to ask can we use power amp board directly by connecting transformer to supply Ac (voltage) power and use mobile to give input signal, connecting speakers to output terminal of power amp board?
