Hi Shannon,

What is the complaint of the Monitor? If the 5 pins components located in the primary side then it is a power ic.

Hi, I have the same monitor as the last poster with the same symptoms but when I pulled the power supply board out, there is a distinct over heat mark on the PCB directly under a 5 pin component, probably a voltage regulator. Is the the voltage regulator likely or should I desolder the transformer to look for burnt windings?

THanks for setting me in the right direction.

HI Rafiq,

It is difficult to rewind such a coil because the wire is too tiny and the diameter of the wire is smaller or same as our hair. Try contact Luca at info@lavinci.it to check for the part.

So right now do you have to modify the coil to make a new transformer or just replace the faulty unit? Do they sell this spare part in the market?
