I imagine that the heat generated by the audio ic could affect the correct work of the capacitors, degrading their function. I imagine their job is to stabilize the ic's supply voltage. What happens here? they generate leakage currents, disturbing the power supply for other stages of the tv, not allowing exit from standby mode

You are absolutely right,and it gives me a lot of concern. Recently I got a new cap to replace old one , you know what!!.The new is even lower in capacitance then the old one.

Maybe they deteriorated faster because of owner setting the audio power often too high?
