Huntron 2000 no longer in production many years ago. I suggest that you visit huntron.com to ask for the latest model price. Or visit ebay.com to buy second hand unit.

Thanks for your positive comments on Huntron's Tracker 2000 .

Many customers will recognise this workhorse , we have lots of customers who make a good living from it (I know a mr Ting- specialist on monitor repairs who cannot live without it . He calls it his eyes , without it he is blind and cannot repair .A few years ago it broke down and he called up sounding desparate ... we found out his 2000 was down ! it took us an hour to fix it. You should see his smile when we sent it back ...I can still remember it even though its many years ago now !

Unfortunately its now obseleted by Huntron since 2003 , mainly due to CRT tube technology and some parts inside the 2000 being obseleted by huntron's suppliers. We still service existing customers who have faulty 2000s.Mainly the high voltage power transformer can give trouble and needs replacement. It cannot be rewound locally .We tried it already .Local rewinds can work but not for long (can last typically about 1 week!). Its something to do with insulation lacquer our rewinders use.So don't waste your time and money trying it .This HV tranformers high voltage will pucture the insulation lacquer material they use , (which are for low voltage units) . Other than this proplem the 2000 is very ...very reliable! .We still use our demo/ workshop unit , which has been finding faults by comparing good/bad boards faithfully for more than 15 years. It still has the original power transformer inside !

Huntron 2700 series replaces the 2000. It has colour LCD and low voltage 200mv, 3v ranges .
