It has a software that can take a picture and measure the object you want. The brand is DinoLite Digital microscope (around 400 USD) http://www.dino-lite.com/. It comes with a boom/holder for the camera with different zoom level (up to 400X) and megapixels.

There is an equivalent and made in China and the price is 40 USD.

This is good for repairing small SMDs for cellphones and the like.
This is a good option instead of a magnifying glass or under a microscope. You can use this to inspect fine cracks either on the component or on the board.

You can use your LCD, laptop or even a projector! You can even start your own microscope photography.

Our operator mostly rely on microscope all day, then complain a lot about their eyes. This is our cheap alternative and it works fine so far.

How's your opinion brother Jestine?
