May god bless you with lots of energy to carry out these kind of repairs to save many electronic gadgets from being dumped for want of minor repairs.This also saves mother earth from tons of electronic waste.You must also train some very genuine interested persons , so that more skilled persons will be available in future.

Yes, I resort to extending connectors with wires whenever I find no other go. Yes, I cheked the thermal sensor transistor too. It was ok. I am always confused with the spelling of heat sink and I keep making this mistake. Thanks for pointing out.
