It depend on the problem. If there are components burnt then getting help from a schematic is a must. Otherwise we can perform the voltage or scope testing to check the condition of the circuit.

without a schmatic, it is VERY...VERY...dificult to troubleshootrepair. i was looking for for a piece that should have been right next to or on the ckt.board & it was on the other side of the TV. I found it accidently...Buy, did i suffer for a time.

Yes now LCD LED TV are real cheap la bought a Toshiba 42" LED for RM2000++++ . But the 3D Led still expensive, don't know when the price will come down. Yes the Sharp model I like it too but still expensive.

If you have Astro B.yond or planning to have one in the future it will be good to to get at true HD TV. You need to buy a 40in or bigger HD TV in order to ready enjoy the HD content and if the TV size is lesser than that then you can't enjoy the show. I have seen a lot of tv sets while I was in the states. it was an amazing trip.
I am home now and hardly getting enough sleep because my new baby boy is keeping me and my wife up almost every night. still it is amazing to be a dad even with the lack of sleep.
I have seen the sharp new tv that uses the yellow color added to the primary colors and the result is amazing picture..I got tempted to buy buy but it would be so hard to buy it and bring it with me on the plane...that is not fair..any way. good to be back.
