These modules come in very handy when a PWM IC or switching MOSFET is unavailable; however, it is important to consider the unit's power consumption before replacing the component with a module. Indeed, Parasuraman—the TV repair man—serves as a guiding light for us!

Yes, in such cases, the futility of making a repair surface only after we complete all the work and switch on! I have had number of such cases! Anyhow all failures are lessons for learning. Thanks for sharing, Yogesh Bai!

Another very interesting repair about using these special LCD TV replacement power modules Yogesh!
I've never needed any of these 5 wire CA888 power modules yet.
But I find this now well presented repair example another good reason to use any of these modules in one of my future repairs. Like the many already done by our well known 'tv repair' man Parasuraman!
