The scaler boards can sometimes have about 50 copper conductor lines on them. Does an ohmmeter detect a low impedance pixel line or is a scope used to detect waveform loss? What dc voltages are normal and not normal? Please specify or were you only guessing at it by trial and error?

I have worked on an expensive Sony receiver over 30 years old, we got it working to the customers satisfaction, not mine. Some of those IC's are no longer available and were made by Sony. So you do the best you can sometimes.
