Hi sir justineyong; the picture shown above your article the board similar with my tv hyundai hy-a21us10 model having horizontal line the problem is i cant read the number bcoz it blown, me i know the right number of vertical ic,,,,the r461 shown above is similar value in my board and its defected open...hoping your reply

Hi Humphrey I have the same model 21 inch hot point tbmv the problem started when it displayed some Chinese reading on the screen when u switch off it disappears then reappear after sometime it started switching on off alone then lost sound what could be the problem

pls I have a TV with horizontal line I change the ic the problem is still persist and a resistor beside TV line is burning pls what else do think I can do

please sir, on my crtv that has the problem of line cross the screen. but i have change all like the capacitor, the vertical ic and the resistor but the line is still their. sir can you direct me on what to do.

Hi Arena,

Have you checked if there is any dry joints in the vertical ic and the flyback area? Have you checked if the dc supply to the vertical ic good and stable?

well hello...im from malaysia with 21' panasonic crt tv and i got the same problem too...
but before my crt tv pic going to single line, my tv picture become shaking first, but the piture going to normal after i slow down the brightness..i have done to replace vertical ic, change the false capacitor and check all the defect component..but if i turn up the brightness the problem still haunting me..it can be the flyback problem?? somebody please help me..tq to all
