It's fixed now. The settings were wrong. I don't know why the upgrade didn't default to allow email to work. Or maybe it was my mistake. Oh well, it's working now.

HI Robert,

You are right. Some updates or upgrade can ruin certain functions. I found that Windows 7 is quite stable so I did not upgrade to another version.

I noticed that and tried to email you. I upgraded to W10 and now my email is not working. I figured that by now they could make a good OS from the start, but I was wrong. I won't ever trust them again and will wait a couple months from now on before I change my OS.
