Hi Jestine
I have sharp vcr midel vc 790 ET multi system I t was using it to transfer pal vhs tapes to dvds.
Now when I insert the tape it go down stay there few seconds and come back it does like this few times and than stops. Also the head id not turning ON too.
I think it is not detecting the the tape. I opened the tape carrier and checked all the micro switches are fine. There is small cct board in the bottom where the Tape sits and run i think this is for to detect the tape and also i checked the sensor embedded inthe small plastic stand which is also used to unlock spools. Sensor shows resistance. I also tried different tapes but still the problem is there. Would you please like me to suggest some thing help me to solve my problem.
