VGA Computer Monitor Tester

If you do not want to use your computer as a way to test the Monitor, you can always get a VGA computer monitor tester to do the job. I bought this tester many years ago and it was good as it could support many resolutions. It could run with an ac adapter or even powered by a 9 volt battery.    Hi Jamal,

   You can read or you can't read? I suppose that you can't read it due to very dim. In that case it could be a bad backlight.

   May i know what have you check in the power board? Have you check the fuse, replace power ic and check for shorted secondary diode?

   Such a battery has made up of carbon zinc, chloride zinc and other, so that the battery has used for long life, you can also provide more about the 9 volt battery.

   In pakistan, Inflation is hiking fastly. therefore, i and others mostly do use TV monitor conversion device like DANY, Gadmei D-500 and 188A type models in order to test LCD and CRT Monitor displays by RF to VGA Convertors.
   Its also tip for Low invested repairman personnel.
