Hi Mr. Yong,
Yes, it is fast. It does plug up once in a while, but I wouldn't trade it for nothing. I would rather leave the components on the PCB until I need them anyway.

I'll bet I can strip a PCB faster with my Hakko 808 than you can with the heat gun. Plus I won't have to breathe-in fumes.

I usually just leave the PCB's intact and remove parts as I need them. That seems to be easier for me, especially the little SMD's that are easy to lose if dropped. I do usually pull the transformers, e-caps, and zener diodes though.
