Andrew: that is a very true statement and if you keep most of these Mosfets available at the shop, you would make a lot of repairs. of course some welding machines come with more damage than just mosfets but still mosfets have to be replaced anyway.

Since everything above about 42V is no longer considered a safe voltage, and 125 VDC is after all much higher. Thanks for another good welder article!
