I became interested in electricity at a early age. I joined the United States Navy and became a Radar Operator. After leaving the Navy I went to work for AT&T as a Telecommunications Tech.

I was fascinated with the telephone company and worked many jobs there. I installed some of the first Fiber Optic Systems in 1982. I was assigned to a digital crew and installed data lines (T1 & DSL) for business customers and performed maintenance on Rectifiers, Batteries and Emergency Generators. I also spent a lot of time in the field testing and locating trouble in underground telephone cable.

I now work in a small electronic repair shop in Los Angeles. I enjoy the work but will always miss the years I spent working for the American Telephone and Telegraph Company.

the reason why! is because of my profession as a computer technician. cause i found hard time repairing monitors and other hardwares devices such as powersupply(it gives me headaches .. depending on the damage result.)
i've been always fascinated how electronics worked, since highschool but it was never included in our curriculum. i can only take my chances by reading them in books and in our library at school..
it really helps me a lot.. cause i'm planning to have my own repair shop someday.. i have gained a little experience repairing some monitors, printers, avr, powersupply. i like to become an expert in repairing such computer related hardwares so that why i came upon you to gained and to expand my troubleshooting technics and knowledge in repairing such kind of devices ..and im glad that i found people like you who are open/ready to share knowledge and skills to improve others.. god bless and more power to you!!!!!!!!

I was a marine mechanic before. I had an accident 20years ago and am paralize in a wheel chair. I sit at home nothing to do. 10 years ago I found an article obout international coresspondent school, so I too a sourse in electronic serviceing. Since then am always looking for help when am stuck. That't how I came upon you Justine. Thanks god there are people like you who are ready to share may god bless you.

I am a tinkerer. I would infuriate my parents by taking apart any mechanical toy I had just to see how it worked. Much to my surprise I was able to not only take things apart, I could put them back together again! That advanced to trying to repair anything broken. As i got older, I would start to pry open electrical devices. A few volts and jolts later I was replacing worn tubes in television sets. I now build and repair computers for friends and myself. I happened upon Jestin's website trying to find info for a 17" Dell LCD monitor. What a great guy! A person can easily tell that Jestine loves electronics. I think more importantly Jestine loves to teach and share his great knowledge. Good for you Jestine! The world needs more people like you!

My interest in electronics started when I was 7 years old,just like others I want to know how stuff works and if it breaks or stops working that is the time I let my hand do the working.During my secondary education I am very lucky that my school is offering Basic Electronics as a Technology subject,from that time Electronics became my hobby and my desire to improve my knowledge started....I am very thankful that there are a lot of GOOD PEOPLE WHO ARE WILLING TO SHARE THEIR KNOWLEDGE....
