As a routine maintenance work, we do replace all the 8050/8550 and high watt resistors in Induction Cooker, whether they are checked and found to be ok. Because, technical experts advice and my experience also confirms that it is absolutely essential. Otherwise the IGBT will fail soon and the unit will come back. For example, in another article too, I have mentioned about replacement of 78L05, 18V Zener. It will pass all tests, but won't work on the board. Why is it, well, I have no answer for that! You mentioned replacing all those transistors and other parts without any effect after finding it was the defect Viper IC. But I suppose that still doesn't mean that all those replaced parts you showed in the photo were indeed defect?
