I agree that an expensive piece of equipment is needed. Coincidentally, this is giving an advantage to the mulinational corporate industry in the electronics business, leaving small repair shops struggling to compete. Has anyone thought of chiping in and buy some equipment to share it to obtain one ?

bueno en casos con esta falla pues no se puede hacer nada.mas que regresar la tv..y seguir adelante con otras reparaciones de tv pantallas lcd...

good in cases with this failure because nothing can be done, but to return the tv ... and go ahead with other repairs of tv lcd screens ...

Just curious - did you you try bypassing/opening those lines? You were going to give up on it anyway, so nothing to lose. I'd have tried it!

yes now in repairing business some investment is necessary major parts are Good HDMI Microscope camera with large wall screen and Thermal camera for finding hot shorted Microscopic components on PCB like Laptop / Mobile motherboards.

That is only one of the reasons why fixing those modern televisions is no longer doable like it was in the crt television days. And it indeed requires new tools like expensive new bga chip mounting equipment and new bonding tools. And those larger glass screens are way too breakable to even consider to replace them.
