About Scratch In LCD Panel

Have you come across scratch mark on the LCD panel? Are you able to solve it? I know there a link in wikihow that mention about using Vaseline to cure the problem. I personally have not try it. Have you try that method before? Anyway i just got an email today that says he already fixed the scratch problem. Here is the email:

“I used a pencil eraser and then CD cleaner and it worked fine.”

If you have a scratch LCD panel i guess you can try the method suggested by Tom. Perhaps this method could only be used for minor scratch and not for those deep cut scratch on the screen.

   Iv used the Vaseline method and it worked rather well, took me a few try's to get it right, but the scratch is hardly noticeable now. After quiet a few months iv had to do it again as it faded out after cleaning my screen off from dust and stuff, but it is a rather easy, quick and cheep fix.
