Completed Another Repair Course

Just completed today the Basic Electronics Repair Course for 3 participants. By right another 2 suppose to come from oversea but they could not make it. Next week will start the Advanced Electronics Repair course . Here are the photos taken during the 3 days course:

   sir jestin can u please tell me what is BALLAST CAPACITOR AND WHAT IS TUNING CAPACITORS in lcd tvs.

     Hi Dicksy,

     The ballast cap is used to filter the strike voltage.Without the ballast cap, the strike voltage is not being filtered at the ignition start-up and will eventually destroy the ccfl lamp. May I know which tuning cap you are referring in the LCD TV?
