No Display Problem In PC solved
A fellow-worker came to me because his PC in the house was out of order. The PC spec are Motherboard (MSI MS-6308E Ver:1.0, with a microprocessor AMD Athlon(tm) Processor 1.15MHz, RAM: 768 MB, 2 HDDs, TV Card IN/Out LifeView, etc). He wanted to change the motherboard but it was costly. I told him to let me check first and decide later.
The PC had to be dismantled in order for me to do the troubleshooting.
1. Modem and Net Cards were taken out first. Powered On and still no display.
2. The IN/Out LifeView Card was taken out too and yet still no display.
3. The Ram modules were taken out and cleaned (both) and still with the same problem.
4. The Video Card (WinFast A340T/128MB) was taken out and cleaned: still no display.
I decided to replace the video card and retest. Guess what? The display appeared as seen from the photos below:
The Operating System loaded without any trouble, so the problem was solved just by replacing a VGA card.
