Remote Control Tester Repaired

The remote control tester that I’ve bought not long ago can’t be turned on even though I have replaced with new batteries. I suspected the low quality On/Off switch could be the cause of the problem. After opening up the tester I could see only few components. The On/Off switch was tested good and the problem was due dry joint at the battery joints. After resoldered it worked perfectly good. The moment I pressed on the Air-Cond remote control buttons I could see the “Signal” LED lighted up and could hear the beeping sound too. Check out the photos below:

   I would like to share something with you, may be you know that, but when i have a IR remot control problem, I check it, with my cell phone camera, this have a long vision range in nonometer that you can see the IR like green light.
