Standby In LCD TV Repaired
This LCD TV was brought to me with the complaint of no display. When I plug it to wall socket, standby light lighted, but TV will not switch On.
I opened the back cover, did normal cleaning and did visual inspection.
On inspection, I did observe two bulged e-caps at audio circuit of TV, see the below pictures:

I normally try and keep the capacitor diameter the same, although taller does not bother me.

Photos showed that the 2 bad caps were next to the TDA1517 2 x 6 Watt audio amplifier board. Maybe they deteriorated faster because of owner setting the audio power often too high?

You are absolutely right,and it gives me a lot of concern. Recently I got a new cap to replace old one , you know what!!.The new is even lower in capacitance then the old one.

Me imagino que el calor generado por el ic de audio ,podría afectar el trabajo correcto de los capacitores degradando su función, su trabajo me imagino es estabilizar un voltaje de alimentación del ic ¿Que ocurre aquí? generan corrientes de fuga, perturbando la alimentación para otras etapas del tv no permitiendo la salida del modo de espera

I imagine that the heat generated by the audio ic could affect the correct work of the capacitors, degrading their function. I imagine their job is to stabilize the ic's supply voltage. What happens here? they generate leakage currents, disturbing the power supply for other stages of the tv, not allowing exit from standby mode
