About Blue ESR Meter Lead Wires
For those of you who owns the Blue ESR meter that have the lead wires together with the alligator clips, you can actually replace the lead wires with another test probes for easy checking especially when pointing the probes to the exact location of the e-cap at the board. Now the problem is when you use a too long and a too thick wire test probes. This would cause the reading to be unstable even though you have reset it and also when checking on any 2200uf electrolytic capacitor and above the result that you will get would be “OO” .
Get a shorter probe with a thin wire leads if you want to have a stable and an accurate reading. I have compared and tested two similar meters with different test probes that’s why i can post the test result to you. If you wish to own the ESR meter you can visit this WEBSITE!
