Just Patching Up Dry Solder Revived A Dead ZEBRONICS Computer PC SMPS
This SMPS Model No. Zebronics ZEB-N450W was brought to me in dead condition. After opening and cleaning the inside thoroughly using blower and various brushes, the complaint was confirmed to be true by applying power and shorting the green wire to ground. On inspection, a lot of dry solders were seen. This was patched up very well. Checked for any defective or burst components on the board and did not find any.
As I was not having the other tools like Ring Tester, ESR checker etc. in the hospital, where I carried out the repair, I powered the unit after doing the dry solder patch up and lubricating the fan. It worked very well, adding a quick satisfaction to its collection bag! Here are a few pictures:

Parasuraman, are you finding your client's dry solder issue being caused by the age of the device or the manufacturing practices?

Fixing a 450 Watt PC power supply without any of the usual tools is normally not easy or possible but it can happen like you showed here. A few days ago my portable DVD player that needs a 12V 1.5A Provision power adapter - model DVP007T02 - input voltage of 110 to 240 VAC, suddenly no longer worked. Completely unexpected I was able to fix the adapter by just patching up all solder, and opening and afterwards closing the black housing was very easy. It was so easy that I didn't make a repair article of it.

It is amazing how many repairs are fixing the solder or replacing capacitors or oiling a fan.
I had a brand new car battery charger whose fan stopped spinning; while still under warrantee it was so much easier to just oil the fan.
Also a brand new car battery load tester with one diagnostic light no longer working; again it was so much easier to just open it up and fix the soldering.
