About IC Tester

For the past few weeks I have received quite a number of emails about IC Tester. They wanted to know more about the IC tester. I told them there are many types of ICs in the market and there is no way an IC tester that can test all the ICs. There are:

1)Oscillator ic

2)Memory IC (eeprom, flash rom, ram)

3) Amplifier IC

4) PIC IC

5) TTL or digital IC

6) and etc

This means if they want to buy the IC tester they have to specifically know what are the type of IC they want to test. By the way certain types of ICs can only be tested by using a  special made IC tester and the rest of the ICs one has to use Oscilloscope, Huntron, Polar or even ABI tester to test them.
