Jestine,
I recently purchased the T-862 Infared Soldering Station made by Puhui Tech. I have success reworking X-box's and HP DV motherboards. It works well and it is easy to use. Who else out there has experience using an IR soldering station?
Thanks,
Rich

Jestine.
Well the T-862++ Yes i have been using it and it's cheap, bought it from the Factory itself, and is use by professional laptop workers in Indonesia Philippine and India other countries maybe. But in China they are good repair engineers using hot air gun to repairs chips and mostly in China they prefer more heavy rework machine like ZM or Shuttle Star from Shenzhen China. By the way Jestine can I have Rich Beinlich email address so i can have share with him the experience. Thanks Jestine and God bless.

good day sir...
this is what i'm looking for. =). thanks for nice sharing.
i would like to ask, IF i'm can't afford the reballing machine, isn't possible if use the blower/rework machine which is the temperature up to 550 deg celcius to take out the graphic chip?
and one more thing, about the way to reball the graphic chip.. lots of vid shows the put the "ball lead solder" on the " chip template" to reball the chip (im so sorry if u can't understand the term of what i'm telling u), but http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nUHhrpodNqc -> look at 4.45 , i thinks this is more easier..may i know what name of this process?
thank u so much...

HI Achai,
Thanks for the link. It is called as installation of pasted BGA IC. Usually the removing of BGA IC can't be done using normal smd rework station. It has to be a BGA rework station.
