About The Workshop
Yesterday, after the workshop about 5.00pm i went home and brought along my family and gather at my friend house for BBQ and i reached home about midnight. Okay the workshop that i had attended yesterday was about writing book and the title of the workshop was “How To Write A BestSeller In 88 Days” by Azizi Ali. He is a well known author (had authored about 32 books) and have a passion in making money especially in the property line. The reason i attend the workshop was because my current fourth book (Troubleshooting And Repairing Switch Mode Power Supplies) i would not make it into an ebook instead i would like to publish it into a physical book. It is not easy to publish a book without some guidance from a professional.
I have learned a lot from the worshop and at least now i understood about the pros and cons about publishing a hard copy book. It is not that as simple as just submit a manuscript to the publisher and expect good returns from it (profit). It involve of promotion and marketing from your side too and you cannot expect the publisher to do everything for you. He also mentioned about how many percent of royalties that you will get for a book sold and etc. He is energetic, full of passion and you will never get bored when he started to share out his experiences. There were 17 participants who had joined the workshop.
I’m at the last phase of finishing my fourth book and now i got to follow some of his steps in order to successfully comes out with a printed book. It may take another few months more before the book is ready to sell to the market. Here are the photos taken during the workshop that was conducted at Hotel Holiday Villa Subang on 23rd of May 2009. This is great, I am also looking forward to the release of the SMPS trouble shooting book.Please let me know when this book is available Jestine, I would love to buy one of the first copies....
