Benq G700AD LCD Monitor Repaired With No Power Symptom
This LCD monitor was brought to me with no power. As I opened the back cover I discovered that the power IC was fully burnt and the part number can’t be seen. I have tried to look for information on this part number but in vain.
Jestine sir suggested to me to use TOP245YN. The power IC was replaced and all corresponding components were found to be good. When I powered on the monitor the power LED blinks. Rechecking the board found several dry joints. Finally the LCD Monitor is alive again after done the resoldering work.

Hi sir
I have a 21" flat crt tv. Iam handy in repairing works. The vertical and horizontal coil of yoke gets short. So i replace a new yoke and now there is one bright horizontal line on the screen. I replace all capacitors in vertical section even the vertical IC 7840. But horizontal line is not gone. So i replace the chroma IC R2J10172HA-A97FP. when i replace the ic the height of the picture is too much less. I have done factory settings using remote to increase picture size. But still no result. Plz help

H Kiran,
Did you replace with the same crt tube or not because all vertical and horizontal yoke coil has it own value.

If your Benq LCD Monitor is not powering on, there are a few things you can check to try and troubleshoot the issue. First, verify that the power cord is firmly plugged into both the monitor and a working outlet. Next, check to see if the monitor's power button is illuminated. If it is, press the button to see if the monitor will power on. If the power button is not illuminated, make sure the monitor is plugged into a working outlet and that the power cord is not damaged. If the outlet and cord are both in working order, try pressing the power button again. If the monitor still does not power on, it may need to be repaired or replaced.
