HELLO MR YONG
thank you so much of good subject is very helpfull to me
but one question :
refer to symboles chart:
and symbol of DIODE,GUNN
if i put a line between these to diod from up to down
then what is the name of this symbol and what would be the name of this component . and how i can test this component?.
i have had this somewhere on board of electronic sets recently

HI Beh,
Is it this symbol:

If yes then it is a varistor and you can test it using analog meter set to x 10 kohm and should not have reading on both sides of testing.

the component as you told for sure is varistor .but the shape is not
like ordidary varistor. the shape is just like glass type diodes
but much bigger just for your info
