Congratulations Guys and Girls! Always nice to see that also women are interested in electronics! Although most ladies are probably still not interested in cars like men are.
Noticed that the VRT ECA databooks were heavily used to compare semiconductor specs.
I have many databooks including both thick ECA VRT Band 1 and 2 books plus several datasheet discs and also two thick Jaeger Elektronik also German vergleichstabelle books (all from the pre-internet era). In the past also a Japanese semiconductor transistor databook was bought to be able to distinguish the transistors used in Sony, Akai and other Japanese audio sets with those used in European sets. (as many know Japanese audio and video sets dominated the world in the 70's when Japan also started to manufacture the American invention of the transistor on their own).
The VRT book in the photo of the repair course presentation however looks new to me.

Hi Albert,
Thank you for the comment. Yes, I do teach how to use the semiconductor book to search for the component's specification and finding the right substitution. It is fast and convenience.
