Components From UTsource.net

I have ordered components last week from UTsource.net and it arrived today. The reason I buy from them is because the price are reasonable and they have the parts that I want. I have chosen the FEDEX service because I want the components urgently. From the tracking, in fact they sent out the items yesterday and I’ve got it today. It was sent from Shenzhen China and it only takes one day to arrive my place. It is worth to pay for the higher price for the fast service. Each item was nicely pack with the anti static bag. This was my second order and will definitely order from them again. Here are the photos of the items:

Please note. I have bought lots of fake transistors from Utsource. Beware!!

HI Riaan,
The first batch of products that I have ordered so far so good. Could you kindly share your real experience as this would be fair to Utsource. Sometimes one has to check the surrounding components before replacing a part if not then the new part that you have installed will not work thinking that the particular part is a fake.Thanks.

Hi Jestine. I do a lot of power amplifier repairs. I now a fake transistor when I see one. I actually crack them open and compare to a known real transistor of that part number, which I keep stored away for reference. The good one 2SC5200 & 2SA1943, have a silicon die of about 5,5mm x 5,5mm.
The fakes sometimes have little white die's the size of 3mm x 3mm. Obviously fake.

They do fake them though, by remarking. I got really bad experiences.

"I purchased a STK-0029 from their website. Their datasheet says it will work for a PIoneer SX-580.
I purchased 6 of them for $ 4.50. None of them worked. UTSource asked if I would be happy for a 50% refund. Why would I? Their Datasheet specifically says it will work for SX-580 even though the ones they sent were STK0029 (without the dashes). They claimed it would work and was the same. I also had to wait 3 weeks for the part since China based. I am trying to dispute the transaction with my bank since they did not help me. I will never purchase from them again. I also purchased some transistors from them in the past very cheap quality. thin legs that broke on the T-220 transistor. I have learned my lesson. By the way I purchased the same power packs on ebay and they worked fine. Terrible Fraudulent company with awful customer service. Stay away find another vendor!!!!"
