Converted 100W Garden Light To 200W In Sturlite IP66
I request you all to see the following link to know the background of this Garden Light:

This light which was serviced and given in September, 2023 was brought back in February, 2025 with the complaint that it was working dim. On opening and checking up, I saw burnt marks on the LEDs:
I ordered for two OBD 100W LED Boards and got it after a week.
On receipt of it, I peeled off the defective board and fixed double sided LED backlight tapes on the new boards.
Fixed the boards after marking correct positions so as to be within the frame of the reflector and wired AC in parallelly to the two boards to increase the wattage to 200W.
The light was very bright when power was applied:
Left it on for a resonable time and delivered it to the hospital on my visit next day. Bill just to cover the cost would be submitted only on its working without any problem. Mission accomplished with satisfaction gathered.

Your repair work is without doubt the best fix any device can get!
Although I'm afraid that because of the heat produced by these tiny leds a future repair is likely needed again in time.
Recently I read the fantastic story about the Japanese inventor and 2014 Nobelprize winner Shuji Nakamura who developped the first blue led in the world! Where all major companies kept failing for many years. And after this breakthrough also these white leds finally were possible to manufacture!

Very very good job, Parasuraman. For me a doubt remained: I didn´t see a heat dissipation resource.

The metal body itself is the dissipator. Many thanks!
