Do You Greet/Welcome Your Customers?
The other day i went to an electrical shop to buy some electrical parts and found that the boss was attending to a customer. I stood there for a while and suddenly came out the lady boss from her office and asked me what i want. I told her the parts that i need and she immediately get a helper to get it for me. The way she talks and the service given to me had left a good impression upon me. Well, she could just sit inside her office and let her husband to all the sales. Even though i did not buy lots of thing from the shop, the service given was superb! I told myself that, if ever in the future i wanted to buy any electrical parts, i will definitely go to that shop again. For your information, no one like to be left out!
The moral of the story is to tell you that “Do greet or welcome your customers and this will leave a good impression upon them and to your business”. Even though you may have bad mood, or not feeling like talking on that day, and if you see customers coming to your shop, you have to make sure that he/she will be entertained or else……….There is nothing to loose because a good customer service will bring more business to you. Word of mouth recommendation is one of the best way to advertise your business and the best of all, it is free!
