Error In Commenting
By Jestine Yong on September 2, 2010
One of my blog readers (Sam C) emailed me saying that he had problem in commenting. The error intermittently appeared when he had pressed the submit button. This was the error message that he got :
“Sorry, there was an error. Please enable JavaScript
and Cookies in your browser and try again.”
Is it the computer problem or the WordPress software fault? On my side here is okay but I’m not sure about your side. If you are one of the readers that have the same problem with Sam i suggest that you email me at jestineyong(at)electronicrepairguide.com . I just want to know how many of my readers have this kind of problem and i will take necessary steps to solve it-thanks.

Hi,
I think it's the browser setting. If using IE, choose Tools | Internet Options. Under Advance Tab, check the Enable JavaScript and Accept Cookies. For Mozilla Firefox, the menu is Tools | Options.
I hope this help.
Thanks

HI Julianto,
Thanks for the suggestion. Kent also told me about this but Sam said it happened intermittently. I hope it will work.

Thanks for the tip. I did check to make sure JavaScript is enabled and Cookies are allowed.
I went a step further today and specified in Firefox that www.jestineyong.com is always allowed to use Cookies.
In Firefox 3.6.8
Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Exceptions -> www.jestineyong.com & Allow -> Close
Will see how it goes.
