One of my friend gave me an Induction Heating Cooker and he told me that the electronic board inside was rusted. For those of you who has never seen the internal section of the induction heating cooker before then here is the chance to see it in the photos below:

HI Don,
I have never repair induction cooker before because i do not have the chance to repair one since my company mainly deals with computer related products. The photo that you saw was given by a friend and it was badly rusted inside. However, like any electronics board, one must check that the supply is good before going to check the high voltage transistor IGBT. IGBT is the most stress parts. If the high voltage components are tested good then i guess it could be the mainboard fault. I suggest that you search for forum for induction heater repair and hope to get some answer.

I have a induction power board to repair but i cand find any diagram, it has two IGBT´s IXGR 40N60C2D1 and need the zener diodes values.

sir iam an electronic mechanic ,some times in induction heater repairing when the mosfet is faulty ialways change the big capacitor also.and the shorting persists and the mains fuse glown .please say me the another reason for shorting

Hi Prasannababu,
I suggest that you check all the components since you have found the mosfet shorted. if possible check for components that is related to the mosfet.

Dear Sir, I have problem with my Bajaj ICX7 induction Cooker. Every thing is working.when i put the pot on induction its starts working and another second it trip and start again.trip with in second and start.doing this i have great trouble. It has 20R120 IGBT.please help me.

i am vijay doing repair work in electronic equipment. now i am facing issue of no heating in my induction cocker ( fan display everything indicate fine) getting clicking & knocking sound from pcb kindly suggest me to make this operational

I have jaipan 2000 induction it is working ok but only 160 tempreture i cant set high tempreture like 600; 800;; 1200; 1800; if i try to set it will be come at 160 which is lowest what is a problem i am electronuc tech.

Hi sir jestine i was wondering about that induction becoz i repair a cheaper one and it's working, but this one is very difficult to me and i don't what the other problem after i change the rectifier and igbt faults still shortage when i test the plug using multitester. Can you help me what is the other parts are fault? The induction is the same as in your post
