A lady spoke to me on the phone and asked me if I repair home appliances? I asked what the problem was. She said her carrot juice makeris working fine it just mixes juice with its pulp. It is funny how she described the problem, it is working fine but it mixes juice with its pulp. In other words, it is not working fine. Anyway, I told her to bring it over and see what we can do about it.

In order for me to try the machine and see what is wrong with it, I had to buy some carrots and give it a try. The moment, I started to make juice, I could see some pulp come down with thejuice and it was not a pretty sight. It was disgusting.

With a press of two buttons on the side I was able to lift the top off and see the inside of themachine.

You can see the pulp and the carrot grinder and so far, it looked good. I could not see anything wrong with it. The grinder is also a juice filter as well.

I took the grinder off and I could see some carrot pulp beneath it. The pulp was not getting to the right side for some reason but instead it was falling beneath the grinder/filter piece. The only thing comes to mind at this time, is the grinder/filter.

By looking at it, I could see that it has not been cleaned for ages. I took it up to my parent’s house and gave it a good rub. It started to look cleaner and cleaner as I was rubbing it hard with rough washing sponge. I dried it up and came down to my shop. I put the machine back together and powered up the machine. I put some carrots in it and started to make some carrot juice.

A smile was on face when I saw the juice going down to the cup pulp free. All the pulp was going where it belong; to the back of the machine. It seems like cleaning was the answer to this simple problem.

I have a working juice maker and some carrots. I was able to enjoy a nice fresh cup of carrotjuice right here in my shop. Mission accomplished.
