    DEAR MR YONG

    i have all parts on my table to make SCR tester my only problem
    is i have lite bulb 6 v 3 watt . can i seri a resistor to bulb
    to get result if this is + what must be the resistor value
    to find 12 v bulb here is difficult.

    HI Beh,

    If your test mainly on normal consumer electronics scr and triac then using 6 volt supply with the 6 volt lamp could work. Try connect a 180ohm resistor.

    thank you so much of reply . also can i change the lite bulb to led 12 v. sure i will respect the polarity of led
