Photos Taken From The Bangkok Trip

By on December 10, 2012

It was a good trip and the weather was good too. The places that I have went were Central World, Siam Paragon (Madame Tussauds), The Platinum Fashion Mall, Pantip Plaza (biggest computer store), Baiyoke Tower (highest tower in Bangkok), Banmoh Road, China Town (Yaowarat), Asiatique and Platunum Market. I was there for 5 days and 4 nights and it was just not enough. The food was superb and the hotel I was staying (Novotel Platinum) gave a fantastic service. I went to Banmoh road just to see if there is any new electronics things. I did not buy any meter, part and etc instead I bought 3 technical books (LCD TV schematic diagram, Plasma TV repair and LCD TV repair). The books are all in Thai language and two of the books came together with dvd disc. Overall it was a very good trip and have plan to visit the country again. Here are just some of the photos taken and you can visit my facebook at facebook.com/jestineyong to view more photos:

Hi Jestine, thanks for sharing your photos with us. They are brilliant.
Bangkok looks like a lovely place to visit.
Why are the rewinding coils on the street?

    Kind Regards

      Hi Paul,

Not sure why because there are lots of them set up small stalls by the road side. I saw one guy repairing LCD TV on those small table by the roadside too.

    "Rewinding coils by the roadside"

Amazing... did they rewind what the customer brought?

I have several small induction motors that need new windings.

      Hi Anwar,
I'm not sure coz I was just a tourist passing by and was fascinated by their work. Nowadays hardly can find such skill people in doing the rewinding job.
