Portronics Dash 12 Portable Speakers Repaired- Part 1

Received party speakers, stating problem it suddenly stopped working assuming the Battery drained they kept for charging for 1 whole day still it does not power ON.
For confirming stated problem symptom, I checked unit on my work bench & I found when we plug the charging adapter Both Left & Right Radiator showing blinking colorful lights but unit is not turning ON.
I asked customer to leave the unit because it may take time to repair as this is Chinese products & part identify & availability is also question & this type of product we have to first check how to disassemble, if this is your first time handling on this Model of device you cannot do it in front of the customer. Because when you try to open the device in front of customer and the customer sees that you have no knowledge and are struggling to take apart his device, he will lose trust in you. So next day I started the inspection. I found it is very lengthy process……
Now slide out both left & right Radiator Plastic housing. Now you see Screws on left & right Rubber Radiators.
After removing Radiator Now come towards TOP control panel.
Now on left side other switches, pull up the rubber pad of switches to remove hidden screws.
Now pull out the control panel so that you can remove the fabric net to get access some other Screws.
Now we have to manage Different Size of screws.
Segregated screws so that we
can make idea which screws belongs to which location.
Now speaker unit is Open
First of all, removed Battery Pack for testing Voltages.
Checked Voltages on Battery is shows 4.4v (Battery is Rated 7.4v /6600mAh)
working voltage range (it should between 5 to 7 Volt). I tried to turn ON the Device only on the USB charger but it gives same Symptom as before, side Radiator light are working but no effect when pressing On/Off switch. Checked voltages on “ON / OFF” switch no voltage (It should be 2.5 to 3.3v) so why other lights light up is there fault in the circuit. Try to figure out the working also googled for the circuit diagram but no success.
Checked Voltages on circuit Battery connector Points, I am getting up to 4.8v that is also fluctuating. Do these voltages are ok to charge 7.4v Li-Ion Battery pack? Battery is drained because it is not getting enough voltage to charge (this battery should start charging on 8 to 9v DC) is charging IC Faulty?

Drained battery probably needs replacement and maybe charger parts are in need of repair too. As long as nothing is working it sadly leaves you with an opened device and a lot of screws that now take up a lot of space too.
I understand that this was part 1 of the here not yet finished repair.

Waleed,
I divided this article in two parts because Outlook doesn't allow large 25MB file to upload.sometime we do not intend to make Article and we miss some photograph to take or upload in the file when we found experience is to be shared & when we make Article intentionally the content of photographs are more which consume more file size.
