    hello sir,how memorize resisor code?

      Hi Vijay,

      Just memorize it and do practical on the checking of resistor. Black stands for 0 that have the darkest color, White is the brightness and has the highest value.

    this is how I memorize it: Black=black, beauty=black, Ran=Red, Over=orange, Your=yellow, Girl friend=green, But=blue, violet=violet, Goes=grey, Walking=white.
    this is the oder of the colors. then add the 0 to black, brown 1..etc all the way to white.
    i hope it makes sence.

      Hi Waleed,

      Thanks for words to remember the color code. It is good for the beginners to memorize those words. In fact my former lecturer (during the 80's) had use another words to help us to memorize but I have forgotten those words. Since I'm in the repair field I'm use to the color codes and I no longer memorize it.

    this is how i memorize it but in french language 
    Ne Mange Rien Ou Je Vais Boucler Votre Grand Bouche 
    Ne=Noir=0 , Mange=Marron=1, Rien=rouge=2, Ou=Orange=3, Je=Jaune=4, Vais=Verre=5 Boucler=Bleu=6 , Votre=Violet=7, Grand=Gris=8 Bouche=Blanc=9
