Repaired LED Bulb By Upgrading To DOB
I found LED Bulb in my storage area was blinking. So, for inspection I put the bulb on my workbench. Removed top Diffuser plastic dome & found LED Circuit was totally degraded.
This Bulb is rated 7W, nothing can be done on this PCB. Last time I ordered few DOB with some other materials I know this Bulbs are non-predictable infact some are working fine since last 5 years even more without any problem.
DOB – (Driver On Board) this PCB does not required any extra Driver circuit because it has circuit on the PCB itself.
For installation I removed bulb’s PCB holding plat
which also works as heatsink & also removed Driver circuit.
After removing the PCB, I applied Thermal paste under the DOB Plate, Solder wires directly from PCB to Bulb Conductive caps & bulb is ready to test.
Assembled the bulb & it is shining on its place.

Very interesting replacement job Yogesh!
Those new DOB plates are a good method to fix any defect light bulb and I noticed that they are easily available on Aliexpress in sets of 10 plates in also different Wattages.
