how to fix mixer grinder

A customer sent to me this Sisil Mixer Grinder with the complaint of no power. Whenever a grinder that has the problem of not working it can be due to broken wires, a failed motor, control problems or even circuit breaker (overload switch) faulty.

Since the overload switch button can be accessed from outside, I tried to press and to reset it but failed. This means the overload switch got problem.

The function of the overload switch is to protect the equipment from overheat, overcurrent/overload or short circuit.

Its basic function is to interrupt current flow and under normal condition this switch can be reset but in this case, it can’t be reset!

I opened the grinder cover and removed the overload switch for replacement. Sorry if the photo below is blur.

Once the overload switch was replaced, I powered it On and the coupler could spin.

I was delighted to see this as I know there was no longer have fault in this mixer grinder.

Conclusion-If after the replacement of the overload switch and still not functioning, then I had to recheck the wire connection again and probably have to turn the set On and perform voltage test to see where it has gone missing.

After this kitchenmachine was fixed, I guess a good clean-up would be advisable.
